What if the power outage happens while baking, continue baking or the oven is turned off?

Yes, you can light the surface burners with a match on your gas range or cooktop during a power outage. We recommend using extreme caution when lighting the burners this way. To do so, hold a lighted match to the burner, then turn the knob to the low position. However, the oven of your gas range is lit by electric ignition and newer gas ovens cannot be lit without power supplied to it. We hope that this helps! -Eliza
