Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There are two parts to answer here. First, removing extra humidity from the area will reduce the feel of the set temperature. Humidity is moisture which holds heat for longer. So in basic terms yes, 72 will feel cooler than before. However, the process of removing humidity from the air the device will create slightly warmer air that is omitted from the device itself. In common sized area this won't be a problem, however if you have it in a small bathroom or a very small room it may raise the temperature of that immediate area. The entire floor/room/house will feel cooler overall.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, not directly, although when you remove the humidity, the room feels cooler. I have mine set up in the basement and use an air conditioner to cool the temperature in the house.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. This is only designed to take out the humidity or moisture in a room. I usually use fans in conjunction with the unit to circulate and cool the air. The unit may actually throw off a small amount of heat when operating.
