This window air conditioner measures 14.49"H x 18.98"W x 19.73" D. Through the wall air conditioners are designed specifically with removable or optional cases or sleeves that are installed in the wall and then the air conditioner chassis is installed in the case or sleeve. The case has the vent openings intended to keep the internal components cool during operation. Window units like this one have a fixed chassis. This means it can't be separated from the chassis of the air conditioner and should not be installed in a separate case as this could cause performance or potential safety issues. -Vikki@GEAppliances

The warm air in a sleeve unit needs to come out through the back of the Air conditioner and not on the sides of it like a window unit. Putting a window unit AC in a sleeve unit can cause overheating or a potential fire.
