Does the vent come out from the rear of this machine? null

it comes ready to vent from the rear, but it can also be reconfigured to vent from the left side for gas and electric and from the right side for electric. if you change to side vent, you have to separately buy an exhaust cover plate to cover the rear exhaust opening, Part # WE49X22606 from www.geappliances.com/ge/parts.
