“Without changing any settings, the dryer all of a sudden seems to not heat up as much as it used to. It is still on the highest heat setting possible and it is taking way more time to dry? Any ideas what’s wrong?”

Possible causes I've encountered in past: vent hose not totally secured at connections or at outlet, and/or vent hose needs cleaning from its origin at back and underneath drier. If hose itself is gathering lint, it might be easier to just install a new one.
