• Yes, the knobs are considered to be easy to turn. Our dryer timer knobs will turn in both directions, clockwise and counterclockwise, when setting the dry time. The timer turns clockwise when the dryer is operating. It is always best to confirm this by going to your local dealer to be sure you are able to turn the knobs easily. Joyce@GEAppliances
