• Hi Linz - Thanks for considering GE® 7.2 cu. ft. Capacity Gas Dryer GTD42GASJWW! This model has an adjustable end-of-cycle signal. The options are Off, Medium and Loud. Newer dryers give several short buzzes a few minutes before shutting off. There is less chance of clothes getting wrinkled if they are removed from the dryer promptly, and the signal alerts you that the cycle is about to end. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue
