“I just bought and installed the this dryer. Does it have any "pre-set" control settings I can use? On my old dryer I could set it to "maximum dry" for example and then just push start and it would always be on that setting.”

I've only had this a few months but so far haven't seen an option for this but I change the cycle and settings often depending on what I'm drying.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can change the default (normal) by pushing the "dry level" button (it's really more like a touchscreen) until the top "very" lights up. Not all dry levels are available for all presets. But you can always switch to timed dry and adjust the defaults.
