A:AnswerEverything is electronic. There is no permanent stay on pilot light. Just took a look at mine and see no where and have not needed to relight anything. My guess would be the igniter system is faulty or the gas valve is turned off so the system doesn't read gas flow.
A:AnswerHi Juan, thanks for leaving a review. We're sorry to hear about the issues you've had with your dryer not drying your clothes completely. We can understand how this would be frustrating. There are two articles that we think may help. They are on our website and are titled "DRYER TIMER STOPS DURING THE CYCLE" and "DRYER TAKING TOO LONG TO DRY CLOTHES." If none of the tips in either of these articles help, and your unit has been installed properly, then we'd recommend a service call to investigate further. Hope this helps! Best wishes. -Michael@GEA

A:AnswerHello KennyB, thank you for your question. We are sincerely sorry that your dog is frightened by the end-of-cycle signal for your dryer. We truly understand how that would be frustrating. We do not have a way, nor do we recommend, that you disconnect or cut any of the internal electronics on your dryer. Should your dryer need any repairs while in warranty, if it were to be determined to be caused by intentional damage to the electronics, your warranty would be void. Please feel free to reach out to us should you have any questions or concerns about your appliances. We are always here to help. -Chris@GEA
A:AnswerHI Rosy you don't necessarily need to but depending on your climate and the amount of moisture you get wicking through the cement floor it might not be a bad idea. Moisture and electronics don't mix to well after a while
A:AnswerHello, thanks for reaching out with your question. You can use a new UL-listed 240V 30 amp dryer power supply cord with closed ring terminals or spade terminals with upturned ends. We strongly recommend the use of factory specified parts. If your dryer circuit is on a circuit protected by a
GFCI breaker, then 3-wire installation is not permitted. House wiring and dryer must be configured for 4-wire. You can order online at GEApplianceparts.com, 24 hours a day or by phone at 877.959.8688 during normal business hours. We hope this information suits your needs, and we are always here to help if additional questions arise.- Kianna@GEA
A:AnswerI don't recommend this washer and wish I had kept the old Kenmore that worked but was aging. I should have had the Kenmore refurbished. This washer worked one time and then malfunctioned so I returned it. New washing machines work differently and I don't think they wash the clothes as well as old ,machines.
A:AnswerCan vent it anywhere you want, that is all in your ducting. Best to keep the run as short as possible and make sure the ducting is clean, this dryer will detect excess lint in duct causing flow problems. Easy to move, make sure you level it properly as with any washer and dryer.
A:AnswerEnergy cost is the main difference. I always go with gas for that reason, an electric dryer hooked up to 220 sucks a lot of juice. This dryer has many different cycles and options, they are endless, can also program and preset your own cycles.
