“Just purchased a gas dryer . Gas line installed but dryer not getting hot . Is there a pilot light that needs to be lit . If so where is it ?”

• Everything is electronic. There is no permanent stay on pilot light. Just took a look at mine and see no where and have not needed to relight anything. My guess would be the igniter system is faulty or the gas valve is turned off so the system doesn't read gas flow.

• No there's no gas pilot to light. Your gas might not be turned on. You need to get a plumber out there to take a look at it or the gas company.

• There is no pilot light. Did you open the valve on your gas line after connecting? I didn't at first and took me a while to figure out why it wasn't heating up
