“How do you turn off the dryer mid cycle? It shuts off when I open the door, but I can’t twist the knob to off. When I close the door it starts back up again. Sometimes I don’t want to continue with the cycle.”

Check with warranty mine doesn’t do that

It has an option to stop a cycle but it stops at the end of that cycle

Hi Claudia - Thanks for reaching out to us and for choosing GE Model # GTD33GASKWW! Dryer timer knobs will turn in both directions (clockwise and counter-clockwise) when setting the dry time. You can also rotate the knob in either direction to the Off position. It is normal for the knob to have tension, but can be rotated off. I don't have the knob Claudia, the one we have are all buttons operated.
