“We purchased this in July 2020. Today I went to use this and it no longer heats up. It runs on cool air only. I understand things are not made like they used to be but a year? Can this be fixed or do I need to purchase a new dryer ?”

Since you bought it in July 2020, I'd contact manufacturer as soon as possible to initiate a fix as these kind of issues shouldn't be happening so soon after your purchase! I bought extended 5 year warranty with geek squad just because appliances these days aren't as durable as they used to be!
