“Why the depth of the dryer is 30.5", while the pairing washer is 27"? So how do they line up?”

Hi AT - Thanks for considering GE! The washer and dryer both measure 27" from the front of the unit to the control panel so they will line up nicely. The 30.5" measurement includes the extension of the dryer drum in the rear.
