• Hello and thank you for reaching out about this versatile washer. We are always happy to help. The Steam Dewrinkle setting on model GFD65ESPNSN is only meant to rid garments of wrinkles. This setting does not sanitize the load. We also do not recommend putting other items in the unit besides clothing or bedding. Please let us know if you have any more questions. - JB

• Yes, I use it a lot. Just be sure you have the attachment that run to your dryer that allows it to use water.
