“The control panel seems to be angled back for easier viewing when standing over it. How difficult is it to reach and see controls when stacked on top the washer? Do typical users need a step?”

I’m short I have to step back away from the dryer to see. Mine are stacked I’m only 5’1”

Hi CajunNOLA2013 - Thanks for viewing GE Model GFD65ESSNWW! While the control panel is only slightly angled, the overall height when stacked is 79 1/2". A step may be necessary for many.
