- Answer Hi Calu, thanks for your question. If your dryer is connected to the SmartHQ app, you can Monitor cycle status & time remaining, extend the dry cycle, and receive an alert when your cycle has finished, but the door has not been opened. - Answer I have exactly the same problem and looking for answers. I have a second gas dryer a whirlpool and maaaan it’s getting both hot and FAST. Like everything’s dry in 40 minutes while the GE is taking over an hour.
