“We bought this w the matching washer, we need them stackable and it shows stackable, but the controls will be 6.5 feet high, that doesnt' seem stackable”

We were going to stack them but decided to put side by side which actually worked better in our space. I highly recommend the GE washer / dryer but DO NOT recommend you buy them through Best Buy. We had nothing but aggravation dealing with getting our order correct and then having it delivered only to have the delivery people not wanting to install it on that day. It took several days to get action from Best Buy and the promise of a Credit for our trouble. We are still waiting for the Best Buy gift card (only credit they will give). I expect we won't ever see that in the mail so they can expect we will no longer give them our business.

When stacking this dryer on top of the GFW650SPNSN washer using the GFA28KITN stacking kit, this installation will come to an overall height of 79.5 inches (6', 7.5"). While this installation is approved, we do understand that this may put the dryer controls too high, depending on your needs. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If possible, given your space, a raised side-by-side configuration using two of the GFP1528PNSN 16" laundry pedestals may also be a great option for you.
