To produce steam, the dryer must connect to the cold water supply. Since the washer must also connect to the cold water, a “Y” connector is inserted to allow both inlet hoses to make that connection at the same time. -Don@GEAppliances
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t have stackable and I do not know about the steam. I do not use it. Although I have a question. Why does the dryer have a strange smell in it after cleaned clothes have been dried. Even the clothes have that smell.
