It has an auto mode that simply uses your desired temp setting to cycle on and off to maintain the temp on the room.

It can connect via WiFi to the GE appliance app called SmartHQ, where you can set start/stop schedules and various settings.

Yes they have a Auto turn on just have to Download the app and set it up
