A:AnswerThe range is a slide in; no trim kit came with it. We had to remove granite countertop from cabinets and trim it since the granite was cut to fit our original range. The source we found for gap fillers was Vance Industries; they are stainless steel; work well and look nice.
As a note, a circular saw with a diamond blade was used to trim the granite.

This is Michelle with GE and I am sorry to hear of this issue with your range.
Although there is not an oven reset button, you can reset the electronics of the range by disconnecting power at the outlet or house circuit breaker/fuse box for a few minutes. Then reconnect power and try the oven again.
