“Will thermostat auto adjust the temperature in the house? If I set the temp at 72° at 9pm... will it self adjust down to 64° overnight until I change it up again in the morning? Or is there a hold function that won't allow it to change temps by itself?”

you can set a daily and weekly schedule or run it on a Hold temp.

Our Thermostats also offer a temporary hold feature that gives the ability to manually override the scheduled temperature until next scheduled event.
