A:AnswerHi - This dishwasher has lower and middle wash arms. Dedicated silverware jets spray highly pressurized water to provide additional coverage areas and improve cleaning results for utensils. Specifically designed to target the silverware basket regardless of placement around the outside perimeter of the lower rack. The advantage is more versatility of the basket placement since the jets are not in a fixed location. Hard food disposer with removable filter. Disposer pulverizes any food particles or cellulose solids that may bypass filtration. Thanks for viewing GE! Sue

A:AnswerNo dishwasher will dry plastic dishes. You can try heated dry and maxing out your jetdry dial but I don’t think they will ever fully dry in the dishwasher.

A:AnswerHi Hrsec1 - Thanks for viewing GE Model GDF510PGMBB! The 1 Hour cycle on this model is for light to medium soiled dishes and takes about 1 hour. It is safe for china and crystal with no options selected. China is normally safe to wash in your automatic dishwasher. However, antique, metal trimmed, hand painted china or over-the-glaze patterns are vulnerable to fading with high water temperature and detergent solutions, and therefore should not be washed in a dishwasher. If there is any question, check with the manufacturer of the chinaware, or test wash one piece daily for at least one month for comparison with the rest of the set. Be sure to load the china items securely to prevent movement during the wash cycle. This will help minimize chipping or breaking. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com! Sue

We are happy to help. If your dishwasher is controlled by a wall switch, make sure the power is turned on.
