Hi Chris- The IM4D is an accessory icemaker kit that provides everything needed to install a icemaker into most icemaker-ready top freezer and bottom freezer models made since 2001. For existing models, please check the label on the back of your refrigerator to ensure compatibility. The manufacturing date is coded into the serial number (not the model number) of each appliance.
