Hi DB25- The latest model is GE Profile™ Series 1.1 Cu. Ft. Countertop Microwave Oven PEM31SFSS. It is compatible with GE® Optional 27" Built-In Trim Kit JX827SFSS and Optional 30" Built-In Trim Kit JX830SFSS. We suggest to view the Quick Specs for details including cutout dimensions: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=PEM31SF_EF_BM_FM_R2_17.pdf - Trim Kits are not interchangeable. A trim kit consists of the trim frame, as well as an upper, lower, and rear duct that attaches to and encases the microwave inside the cabinet cut-out. Hi, I have the same issue. What did you end up doing? The current trim kit is 26 inches wide and the max we can go. GE answered that the new models fit 27 inch minimum trim kits and that seems to be the new standard now for all brands. We cannot find any new 26 inch trim kit or a microwave that is compatible with a 26 inch trim kit.
