QuestionReplacing our GE profile Spacesaver over the range mircowave oven, model number JVM1350WW003. Which is the current comparable GE model ? In terms of fitting into the current trim and size. Need to have a ventilator at the back of it. Thanks.

- Answer Hi Skye- All 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Each microwave comes with the mounting hardware (mounting bracket, screws, exhaust adapter). When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model. The new screws, bolts, and exhaust adapter should also be used. Also, the microwave ovens are designed for adaptation for the following three types of ventilation: Outside Exhaust (Vertical – Delivered from factory in vertical position). QuestionMy JEM31SF door (2004 model) is sticking . Since the new model might not fit my built in space--can I get the problem repaired or trouble shoot it. I tried food grade silicone spray but there is only minor improvement. -can this be fixed?

QuestionCould you show me what the plug on this microwave looks like? The outlet in my cabinet is behind the microwave and the microwave it is replacing had a flat plug. The one in there before was a GE Profile.

QuestionI currently have the JEM31SF01 GE Profile Spacemaker II (Stainless Steel) microwave. I see a replacement as PEM31SMSS or PEM31SFSS. What is the model difference and will the under the cabinet mounting brackets for the JEM31SF01 work with these models?

- Answer Hi James- When replacing old model with a new model, a new kit (JXA019K)will be needed. Updated kits have the proper templates and brackets for the new model; the installation instructions stay the same. PEM31SFSS is the current model (Approx. Product Dimensions (WxHxD) (in.) 24 in x 12 1/8 in x 12 7/8 in). JEM31SF: Approx. Product Dimensions (WxHxD) (in.) 23 7/8 in x 11 3/16 in x 12 9/32 in. QuestionHi GE. Our JEM31SF just gave out after 11 years. It had a custom-made shelf that is only 11 5/8" high, 25 1/2" wide, and 12" deep (plus 1" trim). Seems newer models are too tall. Any suggestions?
