“Can this unit be installed in a box cabinet or is there a requirement for bottom venting to be open and exposed?”

Hey there, Thank you so much for reaching out. This is a great question to ask! Our over the range models should not be installed in a space where the bottom vent is covered. This could cause heat issues if the vent or lights were to turn on. Reach out if you have any other questions! Mike@GEA
