• Hi - We appreciate your interest in a new GE microwave. The GE PEB7227ANDD model is designed for built-in application. The microwave itself is gray. You would also purchase the appropriate built-in kit in the color finish you desire. The gray color of the microwave is designed to match the control panel and door on our newer model wall ovens. When you pair this microwave with the slate built-in kit, you now have a beautiful match to the wall oven below. The gray and slate colors are two different color finishes. We hope this helps.
