Screw GE - they will always answer that the trim kit is model specific and you have to buy their new kit. Buy a new trim kit off of ebay for just a little over $100. It is ridiculous that the older trim kits do not fit the new ones. That is why our landfills are full.

The most comparable replacement for our previous stainless finish model is the PCWK22U1WDD. The current trim kit you have is not compatible. The compatible kit in our white finish is the JX7227DLWW and our 30" - JX7230DLWW. The compatible trim kits in stainless are the 27" - JX7227SLSS and our 30" - JX7230SLSS. To determine which size kit you need, measure the overall width of your existing microwave including the trim on each side. -Vikki@GEAppliances
