Hi there, and thanks for your interest in the capability of our water dispenser tray! We know how important that feature can be and are glad to advise. We would not recommend leaving anything wider than 6" unattended on the dispenser tray or the container may be at risk of falling; it would depend on your specific coffee carafe. We can also recommend that the Hands-free AutoFill option works best with a container between 4 to 8" tall and 2 to 6" wide. We hope this will be a good fit for your coffee carafe!
