We received this clear plastic shelf or container and cannot figure out where it is to be used in the refrigerator. I could not find it in the manual and the Best Buy sales rep did not know what it was to be used for either. Could you explain its use? null

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that tray is meant to hold the ice scoop - it's the right shape anyway.  Hope it helps...
