The PWE23KSKSS changed door shape from a crown top door to a flat top door. Also, the Full-Width Electronic Temperature Control Drawer has colored LED lighting. QuestionWill this model fit my 28 inch wide door opening for delivery? I am putting the fridge in my dining room so I don't need water and ice features and any height is fine. I am told i should buy counterdpeth styles to have them fit my door, true?

QuestionI hope you can respond immediately as leaving town for a week tomorrow. I want to know if I need to turn off icemaker off as will be gone. Worried it will keep making ice otherwise. Nothing in instruction book to help me.

- Answer Hi - Thanks for choosing GE PWE23KMKES! We are sorry for the delay in responding. If your icemaker will not be used for some time (vacation, storage, etc.), we recommend that you shut off the water supply to the refrigerator and turn off the icemaker. If you turn off the water supply, make sure you also turn off the icemaker (use the Ice Make button on the control panel). QuestionWhy are the shelves only 12 inches. My old whirlpool top freezer has deeper shelf room than that. I realize it’s counter depth, but other brands seem to be able to do better than ge in that department. Lg for one, Problem is they use linear compressors

- Answer Thanks for checking with us. This model has a total of 23.1 cubic ft. with 7.16 cubic feet space in the freezer compartment and 14.92 cubic feet in the fresh food section. The fresh food shelf dimensions are the following: 15.7" W x 12" D. The storage height in cabinet (distance from lower shelf to liner top): 18" The fresh food door dimensions is 42.5" in height and 18" in width. The hinge cover depth is 5 1/2" and the snack pan will pull out to approximately 9". The interior of the freezer is 32"W x 26"D x 22"H. Joyce@GEAppliances

- Answer This PWE23KYNFS model is a GE Profile refrigerator. The refrigerator comes preset at the recommended temperature of 37 degrees Fahrenheit. For this model, the Temperature Display is located on the inside left-hand refrigerator door. To change the temperature, press and release the REFRIGERATOR or FREEZER pad. To change the temperature, tap either the REFRIGERATOR or FREEZER pad until the desired temperature is displayed. For more information, see the Control Style D section of the Controls section, starting on page 9 of the Owner’s Manual. The Owner’s Manual can be viewed at the bottom of the Features tab on the product page of the Best Buy website. Lauren@GEAppliances
