QuestionDoes this refrigerator have a “vacation” mode?

- Answer Hi Rebe - Thanks for viewing GE! Current models do not have a "vacation mode". Our current refrigerators use an adaptive defrost which produces similar results. The refrigerator will only defrost as needed. It accounts for door openings and usage to determine when it is necessary to defrost and how long the defrost cycle needs to run. If the refrigerator is not being frequently used (ex. family on vacation), it will not defrost as often. - Answer Hello LoveToTravel - Thank you for your inquiry; we are glad to assist.1. Refrigerator door stops help prevent damage to adjacent walls, cabinets, and the refrigerator door. They allow the door to open wide enough for normal pan removal. They are included on all models and are located in the hinge system at the bottom of the door. Door stops are set to 150 degrees and cannot be adjusted. 2. The case depth does not include the door gasket. 3. We do not have the depth of the gasket as it is a part of the door. QuestionWhen the freezer door is open, how far does the top freezer drawer pull out? Some I have seen only pull out a few inches, so it's hard to reach anything in the top freezer drawer.

- Answer The top drawer in adjustable. It's not ideal but the top portion makes up for any downside of the freezer. When I had a side by side, I hated both fridge and freezer. Now at least I love the fridge portion.

- Answer Hi JC - The refrigerator does not have zero clearance hinges. Also, you can access the drawer with a 90 degree door opening but it cannot be removed unless the door is fully open. QuestionMy opening is 36.5" wide with a wall on the right that's 39" wide. Being that the handle is not an issue, will I be able to open the right side door 90 degrees? Judging from the picture in the dimensions and installation guide, it seems it should be ok.

- Answer We have had same issue. Our solution was to pull ice as it made it so we could keep a bag in the freezer. Not ideal but couldn't figure out how to increase production.
