QuestionI have this refrigerator and cannot get it to show me the actual fridge and freezer temps, only the set temps. I see that “Actual” is right next to “Set”, but nothing i do on the control panel shows me the true, current temp. What am I doing wrong?

- Answer I just purchased this fridge, and I can't understand why the Actual never lights up. Only the Set is lit up. I have tried pressing both Refrigerator and Freezer buttons to shut off the unit and then turned it back on, and it did not help. Upon a search of numerous reviews, it seems this is a common issue, and even the GE representatives answering this question have conflicting answers. Some say you can unplug the fridge and it Actual should appear, and others say Actual is not a working function. The incompetence is amazing.

- Answer I'm not 100% sure, but I think that tray is meant to hold the ice scoop - it's the right shape anyway. Hope it helps...
