We encourage you to view the instructions on installing the water line for this refrigerator on page 38 of the Installation Instructions. You can view the Installation Instructions by searching for your model number on the GE Appliances website and selecting your appliance. Once scrolling down on the product page, you will see an Owner Support tab. Click the tab, and it will display your appliance's literature on the left-hand side of the page. You can view the Installation Instructions there.
