Q: Questionwhat is the max distance from the dishwasher to the sink drain.in my installation my dishwasher is about 10 ft from my sink. my plumber said to contact ge as the pump in the dishwasher may not be strong enough to pump the waste water 10 ft away to the drain. please help. thanks scott

• A:Answer Hello Scott - this is Nancy at GE and I am happy to help you. Per the Installation Instructions, the dishwasher must be installed no more than 10 feet from the sink for proper drainage. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!
