A:AnswerIt makes a good quantity of ice but by no means would I call it a lot.
If you need a lot, I would suggest buying bags of it and storing them in the freezer.
A:AnswerHi,
This is an excellent question to ask! Yes, the freezer does have LED lighting inside. Let us know if you have any other questions about this great model. Best wishes! Mike@GEA
A:AnswerHi - Thank you for reaching out to us as we are happy to assist you. For your Profile side-by-side model you will need the XWFE filter.
1) Line up the arrow on the filter cartridge with the arrow on the filter cartridge holder. Gently push the top of the new filter up inside the holder. --
2) Slowly turn the filter to the right until it stops - do not overtighten. As you turn the filter, it will automatically raise itself into position. The filter will move about a 1/4 of a turn or 90°. --
3) Run water from the dispenser for approximately 5 minutes or 2 gallons of water. Water may spurt and air bubbles may be visible during this process. --
4) Press and hold the Water Filter pad on the dispenser for a full 3 seconds to reset the filter indicator. --
We hope this provides the information you need. Please contact us again if you have additional questions or concerns. Kind regards - Vikki@GEA
A:AnswerHi there - thanks for reaching out about your freezer. We can certainly understand why you’d like some clarification on this issue and we’re happy to help. The two main causes for frost build-up inside the freezer are the door being left open or too frequent/long door openings. Make sure that no packages, food, or shelves are preventing the door from closing properly. Also, search for the article “Refrigerator - Frost or Ice Crystals on Food in Freezer” on the GE Appliances website in the Support section for a thorough guide to troubleshooting this issue. -- If you continue experiencing abnormal levels of frost in your freezer, we recommend scheduling service online by visiting the GE Appliances website or by calling 1-800-432-2737. We hope this information is helpful, and please feel free to reach out anytime if you need further assistance. Take care. Lauren@GEA
A:AnswerHello - we checked the specifications for this unit, and we can confirm that the refrigerator's width with the doors open at 90° is not the same as with the doors closed. The overall width on the unit is indeed 35.75", but the width with the doors opened at 90° (including the handles) is 42.25". We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. -- Please know you can always reach out to us on social media if there are other questions or concerns we can assist you with. Take care. - Pablo@GEA
