how do i change the water filter null

Thanks for checking with us. The water filter cartridge is located in the left-hand refrigerator door behind the rectangular access panel. We recommend replacing it when the control panel illuminates that it needs to be replaced soon. To remove the old filter, gently grasp the filter and slowly turn it to the left, about 1/4 turn. The filter should release, and a small amount of water may drip down. To install the new filter, line up the ports on the filter with the ports on the filter cartridge holder and gently insert the filter. Slowly turn the filter to the right until it stops. Be careful not to over tighten. There are instructions on page 13 in your manual. Thank you! Joyce@GEAppliances
