QuestionWhy would I choose "BAKE" instead of "CONVECT"?

- Answer Hello- Thanks for contacting us. Thats a great question! Convection bake mode is intended for single rack baking when additional airflow is desired to enhance evenness. The traditional bake mode is intended for single rack cooking. This mode uses heat primarily from the lower element but also from the upper element to cook food. QuestionLabelled as a Wall Oven, can this unit be installed in a cabinet under a countertop? Cut-out dimensions indicate it will fit, but is it designed to be safely used in such a tight enclosure?

This wall oven is approved to be installed in a cabinet below a countertop and below certain gas and electric cooktops. Wall coverings, countertops, and cabinets surrounding the wall oven must be able to withstand a temperature of up to 200°F. QuestionI need a phone number for GE Profile 27” wall oven customer service/warrenty department. Brand new and has never been used because temp cannot be set for baking functions ect… Need a service repair man.

- Answer We recommend contacting our GE Appliances team of experts Bodewell at 1-833-4BODEWELL (833-426-3393) Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. ET to have your wall oven evaluated and repaired as needed. In the meantime, If you have not already done so, we recommend disconnecting power to your wall oven for 2-3 minutes to reset the electronics. If the issue continues, keep your appointment and Bodewell will remedy for issue for you. - Vikki@GEAppliances

QuestionI want to replace my current GE Single Wall Oven Model# JKP30S MS2SS (JKP30-27") with this model GE Model # PKS7000SNSS. Are the dimensions compatible (length, width, height and depth) between the 2 models? If not, please suggest a GE replacement model.

- Answer The PKS7000 model offers True European Convection Cooking. The JKS3000 model does not offer convection cooking or the No Preheat Air Fry feature. Otherwise, the performance is the same.

- Answer Hello Jeannie. There are several sounds that are normal to hear in range and oven operation. It is normal to hear the temperature control click on and off during the baking, broiling, convection cooking, and self-cleaning cycles. The sound of a fan running during the self-clean cycle is normal. The sound of a fan running during and after the oven is on. The fan keeps the electronics cool. "Crackling," "popping," or "oil canning" sounds are caused by the heating and cooling of the metal during the cooking or cleaning processes and are considered normal. Thanks for checking. Olga
