“Will the water & ice functions still operate, even if ithe REPLACE FILTER indicator is ON? I plan to use a filtered water source for the refrigerator and want to know if I'll be 'forced' to change the water filter. Thank You!”

• The water and ice will eventually stop working if the filter isn't replaced. We recommend installing the by-pass plug in order for the water and ice to continue to work.
