“can anyone speak to the ease of cleaning the downdraft? My current model has puddles of oil along the bottom of the very narrow deep vent opening making it virtually impossible to clean and clean well. I appreciate your feedback!”

Hi Downdraft, Thanks for reaching out. We're so sorry to hear about the trouble of cleaning your downdraft. We can understand how frustrating that would be. To clean the vent chamber, you can use hot, soapy water. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleaners as it will damage the finish. Hope this helps. Best wishes -Mike
