Hi Chris - Thank you for reaching out to us and for choosing this fantastic Smart electric range for your home! We truly appreciate your patience and are happy to offer you guidance in this installation. This range can be installed with a counter on one side and a wall on the other given it meets the following requirement in the Specification Guide: "This appliance has been approved for 0" spacing to adjacent surfaces above the cooktop. However, a 6" minimum spacing to surfaces less than 15" above the cooktop and adjacent cabinet is recommended to reduce exposure to steam, grease splatter and heat." Therefore, this installation is approved if you have a 6" clearance to your tiled wall! - Additionally, an over-the-range microwave can be installed above this range assuming the 66" from the floor to the top of the microwave is met, you have an overhead cabinet available, and you have a clearance of 1/2" on the door hinge side so that the microwave door can be opened fully. We would recommend that you review the Specification Guide to learn more about these necessary clearances.
