A:AnswerHey there and thanks for this great question. The shelf doesn’t need to be removed as there’s a handle to open the door to the icemaker. Once you open that door, you’ll need to pull up and out on the ice bucket to remove it from the compartment. When you’re ready to place it back in, set it on the guide brackets and push until the ice bucket seats properly. We hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. -Gina@GEA
A:AnswerWe’re so sorry your original question wasn’t answered. There is only an ice maker in the door and no additional buckets in the tray area. We hope this helps. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. -Gina@GEA

A:AnswerHello. We appreciate your interest in our refrigerator, and we’re glad to advise. Regarding what cup you can use in the dispenser, that would depend on the size of the cup rather than how many ounces it holds. The largest container size we would recommend would be 8” tall and 6” wide. If it might be helpful, we discuss the dispenser in more detail on page 11 of the manual, linked here: https://files.bbystatic.com/usQqfOQHeuJoYHb3aqvZJA%3D%3D/d42de2c1-d240-46d5-93d4-b65b31f21851.pdf . We certainly understand your concern about your drain pipe, but as we don’t know exactly where the pipe is located in relation to the refrigerator, we wouldn’t be able to advise whether there’s enough clearance. If you are planning on cutting the pipe/aren’t using it, we would advise cutting it off completely so it doesn’t come in contact with the refrigerator; otherwise, it may be in the way of internal components. The ice maker is designed to produce seven cubes per cycle, or approximately 100 to 130 cubes in a 24 hour period. This can vary depending on the temperature of the freezer, room temperature, how often the door is opened, etc. We hope this information is helpful! If you have any other questions or concerns, we’re always happy to offer assistance. Best wishes! -Sarah@GEA
A:AnswerThanks for your question! We're sorry that information on how to change your water filter and what filter you need has been harder to find than we anticipated. Your refrigerator needs the XWFE filter. For instructions on how to replace it, check out page 13 of your owner's manual, linked here: https://files.bbystatic.com/usQqfOQHeuJoYHb3aqvZJA%3D%3D/d42de2c1-d240-46d5-93d4-b65b31f21851.pdf We hope this helps! If there's anything else we can do for you, let us know. We are here for you. -Chris@GEA

A:AnswerI'm looking for same answer. Sadly we already bought it, delivery was pushed on us prior to closing on our new house. (We bought at Spencer's) Went to take off the convenience drawer and it had an electrical connection. I will be back in the morning to see if I can see a plug or something to disconnect. If I can't, it won't fit in the house..
