QuestionIf you loose power due to a storm, can you still use the cooktop? And are the grates continuous like they appear to be in the GE PROFILE slide in double oven, model PGS960YPFS?

- Answer Hey there - Thank you for reaching out to us. These are great questions and we'd be happy to answer them for you! If you lose power, you are able to use the burners on the cooktop. In the case of a power outage, you can light the surface burners on your electric ignition gas cooktop or gas/dual fuel range using a match. Hold a lighted match next to the burner, then turn the knob to the low position. Use caution when lighting the burners this way. - Answer Yes, this range leaves the factory set for use with natural gas but can be converted to propane gas by a qualified propane gas installer. The conversion orifices and instructions can be found on the back of the range.
