“In the description the dimensions say without handle depth. is the oven like older models where the doors simply slide up and off? or would we have to remove the handles and if so is that a hard job?”

Hello- We appreciate your question. The handles don't simply slide off, they are attached and wouldn't be simple to reattach. The dimension is given so you will know how far the handle sticks out into your kitchen. Note: The doors can be removed if needed. We recommend at least 2 people remove them.
