This dryer does require a 30 amp power cord. Please take a moment to look over the "Power Cord" section on pg. 8 of the Installation Instructions. For help with wire connections, please review the "Electrical Connection Information For Electric Dryers For Direct Wire Connections" section on og. 9 of the Installation Instructions.
