yes it beeps. Funny when I was young my dad would tell my mom" your robot is calling you" when our dryer would beep at the end.

Yes, very short and sweet, 1 second i think. You can barely hear it. I wonder if there's a way to turn up the volume?

This model does offer an end-of-cycle signal that will allow you to adjust the sound level as needed.
