“What is the minimum dimension from the front of the dryer to the wall, accommodating clearance required for ductwork? It says the depth is 32", but I'm trying to understand if this dryer will fit into a 36" deep space.”

My dryer was just delivered. Because of the vent hose, the closest I can get it to the wall is 6", so the front of the dryer is 37 1/2" from the wall. How do we resolve this?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello - Minimum clearance to combustible surfaces and for air opening are: 0” (0 cm) both sides*, 0” (0 cm) rear and 0” (0 cm) top. For improved performance, a 1/2” (12.7 mm) clearance is suggested on each side. The rear of the dryer should face a wall. Consideration must be given to provide adequate clearance for installation and service. We recommend that you review pg.16 of the owner's manual for more details.
