“I have a couple of years older version of this air conditioner, but had to leave the drain hole open constantly to drain in a bucket. It appears this has not been rectified?”

It is normal for condensation to build up in air conditioners. It is recommended to install them tilted slightly outwards to ensure that they drain outdoors. If you'd like, you can view more on this on page 8 of the use and care manual. We appreciate you checking with us!
