Do you have to use the side tank if space is limited? null

Hello, you do not have to use the side tank if you don’t want too. You are also able to just put water in the bottom of the unit ( to the fill line) and I will make ice that way. I do however recommend using the side tank if possible as it will make a lot more ice and last longer. Hope this helps. Enjoy! We love ours!

No. The water reservoir is an option which enables more ice to made by having more water available at once.
