“Is this water tank compatible with the GE nugget ice maker that has the rectangle water tank? It may be an older model but still has the two hoses in the back, however the water tank is a rectangle not oval”

The P4AAKASSPSS is only compatible with the following models: XPIO23SCSS, XPIO13SCSS and XPIO43SCSS. If you don't have one of these units, please take a look at the support article on the GE Appliances website titled: "Opal Nugget Ice Maker - Side Tank Accessory Number And Attachment Method For All Models" to help determine which side tank accessory you would need for your model.
